Blizzard has officially announced Diablo 2: Resurrected about 20 years after the original was released in 2000. This is not the initial remaster of Diablo Immortal Gold a classic match undertaken by Blizzard, as we have seen StarCraft and Warcraft 3 get the exact same treatment. Much like the other two games, Diablo 2 is adored by fans and is still played regularly by many online and offline, using myriad fan-made mods.

I originally created a wish list a couple of years ago when the first rumors of a Diablo 2 remake began circulating. Because its release all those years ago, I have been playing the game, so that I should have an accurate perspective of what works and what does not work with the original game. With what we know now after the Diablo 2: Resurrected BlizzCon 2021 announcement, lots of the points have already been realized.

However, with a launch date not yet set farther than"2021," things can change in a hurry. Listed below are five major things Blizzard and its own Vicarious Visions development team must perfect for this game to be deemed a success in the eyes of long-time lovers.

This one is really a no-brainer and definitely among the greatest challenges for your Diablo 2: Resurrected team. The original game was built about a maximum 800x600 resolution, with critters not seen on-screen lying dormant. Boosting the resolution reveals that a lot more of this planet, which -- as we've seen with some FHD mods -- has creature packs sitting idly by in the corners because they can't see your personality.

With what we've seen in the brief gameplay trailer released at BlizzCon and from data gleaned from developer interviews, Diablo 2: Resurrected has been upgraded to 3D with new lighting, effects, models, and cinematics. Additionally, it supports 4K. If anything, the sport has a darker look with all the enhanced lighting, and also the effects shown off are obviously recognizable for any longtime fans. Much attention to detail has been paid to the original (there's garlic hanging at the store where Atma hangs out?) , and Cheap Diablo 2 Items you could immediately tell this is Diablo 2.
